Luana “Lulu” Stanciu is a PPA-signed professional pickleball athlete who brings elite-level strategy, discipline, and competitive insight to every lesson or clinic she teaches. Before joining the pro tour, she spent four years coaching and directing programs with the renowned Cliff Drysdale Management, working at clubs across the country and eventually serving as Director of Tennis & Pickleball at multiple facilities.
Her coaching style is known for being detailed, energetic, and highly intentional—helping players understand not only proper technique but also the tactical decision-making required to elevate their game.

Lulu offers a full range of coaching services, including private one-on-one lessons, semi-private sessions, 3+Me coached match play, small-group lessons, and large-group clinics. She also provides video analysis, strategy evaluations, and performance-focused training for players looking to progress quickly and compete with confidence.

Originally from Romania, Lulu began her athletic journey in tennis at age 10. Her dedication earned her a full Division I tennis scholarship in the United States, where she competed for both Louisiana Monroe and the University of South Dakota.
Her collegiate career developed the work ethic, mental toughness, and competitive mindset that now define her approach to professional pickleball, and to leveling up her students

She transitioned from tennis to pickleball in 2023, and took the local Austin pickleball scene by storm, earning the title as a Selkirk-sponsored athlete and a PPA professional tour, in less than a year of playing. As a PPA professional, Luana competes on tour while continually studying the evolving game. She brings this high-performance perspective directly into her coaching, giving players access to pro-level insights, strategy, and training methods that translate into measurable improvement on the court.
